Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Aguila (13-2) in San Miguel on Monday night. Hosts were edged by fifth ranked San Salvador (10-3) 98-95. It ended at the same time the 11-game winning streak of Aguila. They outrebounded Aguila 45-31 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for Dominican forward Adonis Lopez (-1997) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 26 rebounds. Dominican Jonatan Bello (-2001) contributed with 34 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Panamanian forward Pablo Rivas (198-1994, college: NCCU) replied with 39 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds for Aguila. San Salvador moved-up to third place, which they share with Metapan. Aguila at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. San Salvador is looking forward to face Santa Tecla (#5) at home in the next round. Aguila will play against Metapan (#4) and is hoping to win this game.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Metapan (10-3) against sixth ranked Cojute (8-6) on Sunday night. Visiting Metapan was defeated by Cojute in a tough game in Cojutepeque 94-103. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Metapan. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Andravious Smith (196-1995, college: Tougaloo) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 30 points, 23 rebounds and 14 assists and Lee Vasquez who added 44 points (!!!) and 11 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Puerto Rican Xavier Zambrana (193-1991) with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 17 rebounds. Metapan's coach Augusto Gomez rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Cojute maintains sixth position with 8-6 record. Metapan at the other side keeps the third place with three games lost. They share the position with San Salvador. Cojute will play against higher ranked Santa Tecla (#5) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Metapan will play against Brujos in Izalco and hopes to get back on the winning track.

The winners were led by Brenden Van Dyke who had that evening a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds. Aguila's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 22 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists by Armani Chaney did not help to save the game for Santa Ana. Aguila have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-2 record. Santa Ana lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth place with 12 games lost. Aguila will meet Metapan (#4) on the road in the next round. Santa Ana will play against Nejapa (#7) and hope to secure a win.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 12: winless Chalchuapa was smashed by Brujos on the road 128-79. Metapan destroyed Chalchuapa on its own court 111-77. Quezaltepeque outscored Cojute in a road game 102-79. Santiagueno managed to beat Brujos at home 99-91. Santiagueno were defeated by Nejapa on the opponent's court 110-93. Santa Ana was beaten by Santa Tecla in a home game 79-87.

The game between closely ranked teams ended with tenth ranked Brujos' (3-5) home victory over bottom-ranked Chalchuapa (0-15) in Izalco 128-79 on Monday. Brujos dominated down low during the game scoring 92 of its points in the paint compared to Chalchuapa's 64. Brujos forced 29 Chalchuapa turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Brujos made 12 blocks. The winners were led by Joshua Quincy who had that evening a double-double by scoring 32 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals and American forward Arinze Obiora (196-1997, college: UMass Dartmouth) supported him with 26 points, 17 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks. Obiora is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Brujos players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 30 points, 15 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 blocks by Jamaican-American forward Devin Thompson (199-1980, college: St.Peter's) did not help to save the game for Chalchuapa. Mario Gonzalez (183-1994) added 22 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
